A Friend likes to sleep in a comfortable bed, no matter where it is. This could be a room belonging to a child who’s moved out, a newly renovated attic, a garden shed, or a gypsy wagon.
Guest Addresses enjoy meeting new Friends. And we get that. After more than 40 years, we can safely conclude: Friends are great people. They generally don’t expect luxury. A warm welcome, a comfortable and clean bed, a shower, and a nutritious breakfast are all they need.

The Vrienden op de Fiets Foundation is a sizeable “club,” but the atmosphere is intimate and friendly. That friendliness is rooted in mutual respect and trust. The result is a relaxed relationship between Friends and Guest Addresses, without too many rules. Still, we’ve established a few guidelines. Because we not only enjoy being friends, but also want to stay that way.
